Grades

Why you need it

This report will allow you to identify student grades and grade point averages (GPAs). You will be able to identify the following;

• Students with grades lower than a B

• Quarterly GPAs

• Cumulative GPAs (including only those lower than 3.0)

• All grades

Details/Functionality

Slicers

The slicers at the top are used to filter down the data you are looking for

Open

Quarter

• This report works better if a quarter is selected

• 20204 = fall 2020

  • 1 = winter

  • 2 = spring

  • 3 = summer

  • 4 = fall

Perm

• Student perm number

Grade < B

• This will filter to students with a grade less than a B

• This will help you easily identify whether students are passing courses with the grades required

Qtr GPA < 3.0

• This will filter for students whose quarterly GPA for the quarter you selected was less than 3.0

• This will return students with 0 GPAs because they took classes for S/U, but you can sort the list to identify other issues, like GPAs between 0 and 3.0

Cum GPA < 3.0

• This will filter for students whose GPA is less than 3.0 - 3.0 is the minimum GPA requirement for grad students

Select Department

• If you are a user that has access to multiple departments (such as a Cluster user, or Graddiv user), then all of your departments will appear in this list, and you can filter by them if needed)

Grade

• This will allow you to filter for specific grades (like if you are searching for U grades, etc)

• Student Perm number

Name

• Student name (preferred first is always displayed if student has indicated one)

Obj 1 Dept

• Department

Obj 2 Dept

• If student has 2 objectives, the department of the second department

Quarter

• Quarter that the row of data applies to

Quarter GPA

• Quarter GPA (GPA for just that quarter)

Cum GPA

• Cumulative GPA

Course

• Course number of the courses the student took for the quarter selected

Grade

• Grades of the courses

Current Standing

• Academic Standing (if any) for the quarter selected

• Warning/Monitoring/Probation

Current Action

• The Action reason (low GPA, Time-to-degree) for the Academic Standing

Next Standing

• If a standing is entered for the following quarter, it will display

Next Action

• If an action is entered for the following quarter, it will display

Next Academic Quarter

• The next academic quarter,
