The Standing Tab is part of the Student Profile.

Why You Need It

The Standing Tab displays the Academic Standing (Warning/Monitoring/Probation) in regards to the Academic Performance and Performance Policy. This will display the quarters that each status applied to a student.

Filters

The returns can be filtered by Year, Quarter, and Action

Quarter

This is the year and quarter that the record applies to

Standing Type

This is the Academic Standing that applies to the record (Monitoring or Probation)

Reasons

The reason the student is not in good academic standing

Masters Completion	Time to Degree	Over time to degree to complete the MA
Advancement to Candidacy	Time to Degree	Over time to advance
Doctoral Completion	Time to Degree	Over time to degree to complete the PhD
GPA	Coursework Performance	Cumulative GPA less than 3.0
Incompletes	Coursework Performance	12 or more units of incomplete grades
Departmental Standard	Departmental Standards of Scholarship	Not meeting a departmental standard (as reported by the department)
Committee Formation	Departmental Standards of Scholarship	Not able to form a committee (as reported by the department)
Exams	Departmental Standards of Scholarship	Did not pass a comprehensive/qualifying exam (as reported by the department)

Standing Status

Unresolved - the standing was not resolved that quarter

Canceled - the standing was canceled that quarter

Resolved - the standing was resolved that quarter

Applied Date

The date that the standing status was applied

Resolved Date

The date that the standing status was resolved (if any)
