Discussion 

  • Mark Norstedt reviewed the csv's created from the power shell script that parses the pbix files and emailed copies to Eric Johnstone so that Eric can explore a POC with DLP policies.
  • Kara Nowell showed some word cloud and ribbon visuals on building maintenance for BFSS department 
  • Ann Crawford (Unlicensed) reviewed the go live steps for converting reports from test.sa.ucsb.edu to the service.  We will wait for the Power BI Google documents to be finalized before completing. 
  • Ann Crawford (Unlicensed) showed how to connect to a data flow from Power BI desktop to create datasets. Data flows simplify the gateway connections, allow for shared data ideas and allow developers to develop in power BI desktop without having access to the source database.
