How to enter a petition

Log in with your UCSB NetID and password (SSO)

Enter the Perm and press Enter

Select “Initiate New Petition” from the Students menu

Choose one of the five types

Choose the appropriate major (if more than one in the department)

Select the requirement area to apply the petition to

Enter the petition components
