Operations (various systems)

  • System Updates and Enhancements

    • Summer unit-fee caps for undergraduates are set to 10 units ahead of summer fee assessment.

    • Building map links in GOLD, eGrades and the public course search now utilize the campus interactive map rather than Google maps.

    • SREG/SLR users can manually reset residency determinations in SLR. Used for self-reported determination errors via the UC application.

    • Permanent Residents can now use the Quarter Cancellation Petition in GOLD.

    • Updated text in the Quarter Cancellation Petition in GOLD note implications on a student’s housing contract.

  • Data Management

    • Corrected INT W 188C and 188E related courses data

  • Bug Fixes

    • Resolved issue in CRES with cloning new MCA records with new effective quarters. The ‘Students Enrolled’ error will no longer prevent a clone from being created.

    • Resolved text-capitalization issue in CRES when course description fields are populated. Text will now remain in the case as data entered, and not be automatically uppercased.

    • On-going resolution of SLR issues with various student populations (MDS admits specifically, collaborating with Grad Div to have corrected data sent with SIR files).

    • Resolved error in IP Link batch job (SRGRJ018) for legacy ENGSC subject code. Now correctly linking to ENGR subject code.

    • Resolved bug with SLR short form not directing students to long form when appropriate.

    • On-going resolution of Requirement table/screen duplicates

Coursedog

  • Master course records for Long Title and Course Descriptions manually updated in ODS for approved course proposals that have not yet been synced to the SIS. The title and descriptions for these courses are now displayed in GOLD (affected the F23 schedule). This will need to be an ongoing effort until the API between Coursedog and UCSB is fully functional.
