Faculty Graduate Advisor Review (Step 4)

If all committee members clicked “Pass” in Step 3, then the Faculty Graduate Advisor will get an automated email with a link to review the student’s advancement. The link will take them to the Gradpoint Actions tab, where they will review the committee, exam date, University/Senate requirements, and language requirements:

At the bottom, they have an additional clause indicating that all department requirements were passed. The faculty graduate advisor should be in communication with the staff graduate advisor to confirm this. If the faculty graduate advisor certifies that everything is correct, then they should click Approve. We expect that if the workflow has gotten to this point, there should be no errors and this should be a standard approval. However, if this is not the case, please contact the Academic Services Team.
