Admissions
Graduate Admissions
Graduate Admissions is housed with in the Admissions, Outreach, and Diversity Initiatives Unit (AOD) within the Graduate Division. Our team is comprised of two admission staff members as well as the Director of the entire AOD unit. We also have one student assistant.
Graduate Admissions is responsible for the central processing of all applications to graduate programs at UCSB. Departments complete the initial review of applications and departments submit admissions recommendations to the Graduate Division. Graduate Division Admissions staff review these applications and assign a final admissions status on behalf of the Graduate Dean.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. We hope the available resources provided here in Confluence will help guide you through the Admissions process.
Thank you for your time and commitment to our applicants and students!

The majority of our department training resources can be found within this Confluence page. However, there are some additional resources that can be found on GradPoint.
We’d also encourage you to review our public-facing webpages that have lots of helpful information you can share directly with applicants and incoming students.
