Master’s Degree Check Sheets
Departmental and Graduate Division Responsibilities
Departments must submit to the Graduate Division a degree check sheet signed by the Faculty Graduate Advisor or Department Chair verifying completion of all requirements including applicable/appropriate course waivers or substitution included on the check sheet for the master's degree.
The Graduate Division Academic Services Unit is responsible for completing the degree audit and posting the degree to the student’s transcript. The degree audit includes:
checking that the student completed all requirement's for the degree
completing the data entry of thesis committees, project completion dates, comprehensive exam completion dates, thesis filing dates
recording the student’s thesis committee (if applicable) in our database
Posting the final degree to the transcript
