Logging into Power BI

  1. Visit the Power BI service login page, here: https://app.powerbi.com/home

  2. Enter an email address. The email address should be the user’s UCSB email address in the following format: UCSBNetID@ucsb.edu (for example if the user’s UCSB NetID is ‘jdoe’, then that user would use the email address jdoe@ucsb.edu):

  3. Click the ‘Next’ button:

4. The next screen will prompt the user to enter their password. The password is the same password associated with the user’s UCSB NetID:

4. A DUO multifactor authentication push will be sent to the user's registered mobile device and will require the user to verify their identity using their mobile device. The campus IT group manages the DUO system. To report an issue, please call (805) 893-5000 or visit the following website: https://ithelp.ucsb.edu Their hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For Power BI login issues unrelated to DUO, please email: support@dataservices.ucsb.edu
