Chemistry Professional Development (ChemPD)
ChemPD is a student cohort of Chemistry graduate students. ChemPD generates and participates in professional development seminars and other events for industry professionals. If you would like to get involved, please contact them to become a ChemPD liaison.
What does ChemPD do?
Host an annual ChemPD-organized career fair for the department
Serve as a point of contact and liaison between industry, DCB graduate students, and UCSB career services to maximize opportunities for students and recruitment for industry
Support DCB students throughout the job application process
Generate seminars with industry professionals, host resume/CV workshops, spread awareness of relevant on-campus career events
