GradTeach Google Group

The Graduate Division launched the GradTeach forum on Google Groups during the 2020-21 academic year. The intention of this group is to connect departments in need of additional support with graduate students seeking academic employment.

Hiring departments are able to submit postings for open Teaching Assistant, Associate, Reader, Graduate Student Researcher and Student Assistant positions using the online form here.

The original announcement from September 2020 is available here.

Using the Online Submission Form

The online submission form is a Google Doc, which the hiring department completes with basic information about the open position. The required answers are marked with a red “*”. We ask that hiring departments give as much information about the position as possible, while still being brief.

Be sure to include clear directions on how students can apply, whom they should contact to apply and what supplemental materials, if any, they may be required to submit with their application (CV, teaching evaluations, etc).

Please note that the number of open positions is a required answer because the Academic Student Employees Unit Collective Bargaining Agreement requires that a count of open ASE positions be recorded.
