Discuss the Recreation use of the SA developed Photos API and how can it be replaced with the Apigee photos API.

10 min	Current SA Photo API and Recreation needs	Diana/Farah	SA has developed a Photos API that has access to the ARIT UCEN photos database and returns photos of students and staff. The API is used in the Recreation Management System Fusion to display the photos of members entering the facility upon card scan. This applies to students and staff. Fusion allows only one API to be attached to the card scanning process making it necessary to return student and staff photos in one API. We pass perm for students and employee id for staff to retrieve the photo.
20 min	Apigee Photos API	team	The Student Photos API was released in Apigee. It does not return staff photos. Would like to decommission the SA Photos API and replace it with one in Apigee. Options Add staff photos to the student photos API and rename it Create a new staff photos API create an API that combines the two in Apigee or create it on the SA side
	Notes		the Recreation API has specific code to strip the perm padding characters so we will create a private recreation API. Gary has an employee API and will publish it in Apigee separately The ARIT photos database was updated with new employee iDs Pam can test if pictures show up now in recreation with the old cards and new ids in the database
