The Grad Support report displays historical data of all of a department’s funding accounts and the budget for the current year and the previous 3 yearsthe funding received by students in a department.

Why you need it

This report provides a list of a department’s funding accounts, the budgets, and the students commitments made from the funding accountstudent payments and the associated funding programs. It can be used to support PRP review funding requests , annual fiscal close, and the periodical review of department accounts and spending.

The report data can be expanded or collapsed to display as much detail as needed. Click the +box at the beginning of each row to expand the data.

1 - Fund program type: click this row to show the funding programs that pay this program

2 - Fund program ID (AIDID): click this row to show the students paid by this funding program ID

3 - Student Students funded by the program: click this row to show the year and terms that the student was fundedfund program ID

4 - Aid year: click this row to show which quarters were funded

5 - Quarter and amount that the funds the were committed forwere committed for

When all of the detail rows are unexpanded, the Grad Support report provides a department a quick overview of each of the funding program types (block grant, central fellowships, etc.). The total Grad Support amount for each year is carried down into the next report and adds payroll data to provide the full annual amount of graduate student support. Payroll data totals include teaching (ASE) and research (GSR) salaries for all students in the department regardless of the employing department.
