When all of the detail lines rows are unexpanded, the Grad Support report provides a department a quick overview of each of the funding program types (block grant, central fellowships, etc.). The total Grad Support amount for each year is carried down into the next report and adds payroll data for student teaching and research salary amounts for to provide the full annual amount of graduate student support. Payroll data totals include teaching (ASE) and research (GSR) salaries for all students in the department regardless of the employing department.
