Function
Screen used to display/update athletic information for student athletes. This is mainly used to track NCAA athletes, and managed entirely by Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA), but it's also sometimes used to track recreational athletes and team managers.
Data Elements
Most of the fields above the Sport information need to be researched for end use and documentation.Â
Sport - References the Sport look up table in SRTB.Â
Status - A = Active, Blank or I = Inactive
Remaining Eligibility - A numerical value that represents the number of years the student has left in the sport. As the student progresses through their academic career and subsequent "Athlete Years" are created, this number sequences down until it reaches 0.
Active/Purge - A = Active, but this field specifically interacts with the Remaining Eligibility (RE). When the RE field reaches '0', the Active/Purge field is changed to a 'P'
